Dynamic, fast paced National Title Agency is currently recruiting for an experienced National Settlement Officer for their rapidly expanding operations. If you have at least 2 years experience within the Title Industry in this (or similar), we'd like to hear from you. Excellent pay and full benefits. Remote work option available for right candidate.

Responsibilities:

· Review title commitments, sales contracts and other related documents to a real estate transaction.
· Work closely with lenders, realtors, mortgage brokers, builders and others to process and close files.
· Examine and clear requirements on title commitments and lender closing instructions to clear the file to close.
· Prepare CD's & Settlement Statements, conveyance and other settlement documents necessary to complete the closing transactions.
· Review funds received and instruct on the disbursement of funds based on the Settlement Statement.

Qualification Standards/Required Knowledge: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

· 2 plus years' experience in title insurance, processing and closing residential real estate transactions.
· Have a positive attitude and be a team player.
· Good reading and comprehension skills
· Good organizational and multi- tasking skills
· Proven customer service skills
· Proficiency with personal computers
· Must have problem solving capabilities and a sense of urgency

Education and/or Experience:

· High School diploma or equivalent
· Practical work experience within real estate industry or vendor management service company
· Working knowledge of real estate titles
