Maven is looking for a Mental Health Services Lead to virtually oversee our national network of mental health providers. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring excellent operational skills, comfort collaborating with both clinical and business leadership, and a high level of autonomy. Key responsibilities span treatment, case reviews & clinical escalations, content creation and team management.

As the Mental Health Services Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Provide evidence-based treatment via synchronous visits and asynchronous messaging; Manage a 70% caseload
  • Manage a team of full-time Mental Health providers; Lead independent and group clinical consultation meetings
  • Support behavioral health clinical escalations
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and encounter documentation audits of Mental Health visits; Assist in developing standards for appropriate documentation and practice
  • Participate on credentialing and quality review committees
  • Create and/or review member- or provider-facing clinical content
  • Collaborate with Director of Clinical Compliance on policy development (emergency protocols, etc)
  • Revise practitioner training in accordance to updates to practice guideline via the NIH, ABPP (American Board of Professional Psychology), NBCC (National Board Certified Counselors), or Board of Behavioral Sciences
  • Report biweekly to Medical Director and act as point of escalation for any provider concerns and member feedback
  • Serve as an ambassador of Maven's unique care model, providing culturally humble care and championing our belief that better outcomes for women and families mean a better world for everyone

We're looking for you to bring:

  • PsyD or PhD in clinical counseling psychology
  • Unrestricted active license (able to work independently), without current disciplinary action
  • Experience providing evidence-based treatment (CBT, etc)
  • At least 10 years of independent practice experience
  • Experience leading teams of therapists; Experience with remote teams is a plus
  • Strong commitment to providing empathetic, culturally humble-care
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clinicians and cross-functional operational partners
  • Experience providing video therapy is a plus
