Your Mission:

Apollo is growing the community team and we are looking for someone special to join our monumental company and community journey. The opportunities for this role are unlike those anywhere else in the industry, we are excited to experiment and try new things in a new era of marketing and brand. We are looking for a seller who has a passion for relationships, events + content. This person likely has been a BDR, maybe even an AE, loves LinkedIn and has an audience, is comfortable copywriting, being on video, and loves to connect the dots for people. They'll be selling, generating pipeline, and documenting how they do all of this using Apollo on social media. This person will be supporting our efforts to educate, activate and drive adoption within our customer base and prospect community. The role reports to our Sr. Manager of Executive Presence + Evangelism.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend events (15% travel) and work the room to create memorable experiences and book meetings on-site
  • Follow up on all event leads within 48 hrs of the event
  • Measure the impact of the role by comparing conversion prior to this dedicated follow-up v. after
  • Monitor and engage within the community connecting prospects + customers to their designated AEs when applicable
  • Sell event sponsorships 100k/Q + manage brand relationships
  • Monitor inbound requests from executive brands and connect prospects, customers, and partners to the appropriate channels
  • Create content documenting how you use Apollo to do your job
  • Establish yourself as a GTM thought leader amongst sales and marketing professionals
  • Become a product expert with the ability to demo live or showcase the product in your content
  • Post 3x/week on social
  • Support and deepen relationships with GTM influencers

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years exceeding quota in sales or sales development roles
  • 2+ years creating professional content on social media platforms
  • Confident on video
  • Experience selling B2B software (deals $10k+)
  • Confident speaking to/interacting with executives
  • Excellent copywriting skills
