Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director for Fast's publisher partnerships program. This role will establish and drive Fast's relationships with publishers and affiliate networks.

This role presents a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between publishing, commerce, and identity. Specifically, we are looking for someone with a strong background and track record prospecting, signing, and growing relationships with publishers across fashion, beauty, home, fitness, lifestyle and other verticals. This person should have a solid grasp of the application of commerce and checkout in the publishing and advertising space.

Role

  • Create new strategic relationships with publishers and affiliate networks
  • Evaluate and assess the strategic and economic impact of potential opportunities with partners and allocate time toward the highest value opportunities
  • Understand partners' strategic priorities, challenges, complexities and internal roadmaps-Collaborate internally and externally with key stakeholders, including marketing, sales, product, engineering, legal, and more
  • Contribute to shaping our publisher partnership strategy and identify both new areas of focus or existing areas that can be improved across our partner ecosystem
  • Design and implement strategies, tools and processes that helps scale the team and increase our velocity to market

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience strategically working with leading publishers and affiliate networks
  • Drive to innovate and achieve growth goals. Strong track record of high performance in achieving quotas, with a knack for navigating ambiguous client situations
  • Developed advanced consultative selling skills and are able to position the use of technology to solve slightly different problems depending on the client's specific needs and expectations
  • Deep working knowledge of a publisher's tech stack, sales, account management, marketing, partnerships and product functions
  • A track record of identifying, sourcing, negotiating and executing new strategic opportunities from end to end with complex external parties
  • Ability to define and translate a vision into detailed and actionable plans
  • Proficiency in project management. Ability to prioritize and work nimbly with cross-functional internal and external teams across leadership, product, sales, marketing, customer success and operations
  • Ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to flourish in a high-growth startup environment with ambiguity, and turn uncertainty into opportunities
