Marketing Assistant / Content Creator focused around remote work

We're looking to hire a digital marketing specialist to assist us with growing our audience, primarily through content marketing. Initially, this will be a part-time position with up to 20 hours per week. Our hope is to expand this position into a full-time marketing manager role.

As a 1099 contractor, you'll set your own hours. Our only request is that you dedicate 10-20 hours / week to our project and keep detailed time logs and project notes as proof-of-performance.

Our mission

We're on a mission to push the concept of remote work mainstream. Some companies are slowly starting to see the benefits, but there's still a long way to go. Were excited to be in the middle of the work-from-home revolution. Our job board caters to jobs which allow remote workers and has a high engagement rate.

You should

• Have superb written English communication skills
• Have previous content, social media, and/or influencer marketing experience
• Employ a strong level of attention to detail
• Be available 10-20 hours / week

What you'll do

• Identify current trends and opportunities for rapid engagement on our social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn)
• Write relevant, targeted blogs posts revolving around remote work trends / perks and current world events
• Create and/or source high-impact digital media (such as images or videos) through our active tools and subscription services for sharing on our social media accounts.
• Create and schedule social media posts using our social media scheduling platform
• Identify potential partnership opportunities to expand our outreach

Compensation

You'll be treated and paid as a contractor. We're open to paying you directly as a 1099 contractor or having you invoice us from your own company, if you're in the United States. If you're outside of the United States, please let us know your preferred method of payment.
