The full-time Virtual Student Success Coach is responsible for guiding students and parents through the registration process and insuring they have a successful start in their virtual classes. The Student Success Coach works with a caseload of students to help them schedule and prioritize their week, motivate them to complete their work, and to celebrate their successes. Supporting students as they develop the skills necessary to be an independent learner, the Student Success Coach communicates with students, parents, and teachers to answer questions and resolve issues.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Supports and guides their caseload of students and parents to successfully complete the admissions and enrollment process; including submission of all forms and all required documents
  • Provides information and answers questions regarding admissions and enrollment timelines, requirements, and schedules
  • Completes admissions process by entering data into the system.
  • Report to a central team that ensures students are reported to the state and recognized by the state as a student of stated school/academy
  • Replies to all incoming emails, texts, and phone calls from students and parents
  • Responds to inquiries from prospective students and families and provides information regarding the school
  • Monitors messages and returns calls as needed within normal business hours
  • Answers student’s/parents’ questions and responds to concerns
  • Works with assigned students to develop a plan to successfully complete each course, stay actively engaged in school, attain a minimum grade of C in each course and have the student attend all REQUIRED state testing
  • Works to understand and define student needs; provides information regarding needed resources
  • Facilitates regular communication with students and parents regarding progress and success
  • Facilitates regular communication with appropriate instructor or school administration as necessary
  • Follows up with students and parents to ensure that needs are addressed
  • Documents communication and activity with students, parents, teachers, administrators
  • Provides routine and ad hoc reports as needed
  • Performs administrative support as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • High school diploma required, AA or BS/BA degree preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other online tools.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule.
  • Positive, high-energy attitude
  • Passion for helping student success in their education
  • This role is open to any location in the US, but East Coast preferred. Per the CO State requirement (EPT Rules): minimum hourly wage of $15.87. The actual rate of pay may be higher depending on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
