Web Developer/ Producer

This is a work from home position.

YouFit is looking for a skilled, full-time Web Developer / Producer who will be responsible for managing YouFit's web presence. This person will play an integral role in developing and executing web strategies that not only drive revenue, but also enrich the experience for visitors to youfit.com.

As a key member of the marketing team, you will execute on direct outputs from the marketing plan and implement strategic iterations to youfit.com in an effort to create an easy UI/UX experience. We're looking for a developer that loves to mix their passion for web development with a desire for pushing web analytics and marketing tech to the next level.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the front-end and back-end development of the website - standardize process related to sprint planning, deployments, and roadmap

• Implement technical SEO best practices including content structure, tags and data cataloguing

• Partner with stakeholders across the organization to scope new webpages or section needs; ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and carry it through to a polished, fully styled result

• Run the website experimentation program to achieve site improvements such as site performance, UX, navigation, form conversions, and personalization

• Define processes and timely solutions for reported problems/bugs with the website

• Optimize the website(s) for maximum speed and scalability according to Google Pagespeed Insights

• Improve our internal frameworks to drive consistency across multilingual sites

• Monitor website KPIs to identify trends and areas of opportunity while analyzing user behavior

• Manage web hosting and DNS records

Education and/or Experience:

• At least 3 years of professional web development experience
• Bachelor's degree required

• Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's

• Exposure to Angular.js or React.js (and Bootstrap or similar frameworks)

• Proficiency in Relational Database environments (SQL Server or MySQL preferred)

• Experience with E-commerce applications

• Experience with Google Analytics implementations

• Experience with mobile-first reactive design

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Proficiency with Daemons or Windows Services and Web Applications

• Contributed in a team with an Agile, iterative process

• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence

• Familiarity with email marketing or the ad-tech industry
