Tech Lead / Senior iOS Developer (Objective-C)

We are looking for a talented and passionate iOS Senior/Tech Lead to head our mobile development team. You'll be leading our efforts to build the team, architecture, and processes of a set of apps, including the most popular Motivation app - with over 20 million users.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve our core apps.
• Help hire, manage, train and code review other developers.
• Write high quality, high-performing and well-tested code.
• Turn design requirements and prototypes into working features
• Work and play with many different libraries and SDKs (Widgets, WatchOS, MacOS, CoreML, CoreData…)

Requirements:

• Positive attitude, real passion for apps, genuine care of our users, and strong ownership of the product.
• At least 6+ years writing code, 3+ years in Objective C
• At least 2+ years leading, interviewing, managing and mentoring peers
• Experience developing and maintaining high quality customer facing apps in the AppStore
• Strong grasp of iOS Apple development tools (e.g. Xcode, LLDB, and Instruments) and different SDKs
• Ability to work well with others by listening, giving constructive feedback and communicating clearly in English
• Ability to hack solutions when necessary, making the right trade-offs in dealing with conflicting priorities.

• Good eye for UI/UX design and product
• Knowledge designing APIs and architecting back-end solutions
• Experience managing growth initiatives like A/B testing and rapid prototyping
• Experience with Machine Learning and sorting algorithms

• Experience building a team from scratch in a high growth startup
