Sr. Frontend WordPress Developer

Cie is looking for a Contract Sr. Frontend Wordpress Developer to help execute tasks for one of our portfolio companies.

What you'll need

• Have an overall focus on front-end development and a solid understanding of all layers of a web application while being aware of overlapping responsibilities shared with back-end technologies.
• Experience building self contained and reusable UI components.
• Strong experience with Sass, BEM and Bootstrap
• Experience with WordPress and Advanced Custom Fields syntax.
• Experience with VVV ( Varying Vagrant Vagrants )
• At least 2 years of experience working with Vue.js from start to deployment.
• You must be able to demonstrate expertise in HTML, CSS and Javascript.
• Exceptional level of attention-to-detail and the ability to collaborate with designers and content creators to develop robust and user-friendly interfaces.
• A strong sense of ownership and passion to learn.
• Experience using Webpack for bundling and task automation.
• Experience working with Git version control and strong knowledge of branching and merging.
• Experience developing projects across all screen sizes and modern browsers.
• Experience estimating high level features/tasks and breaking them down into components.
• Strong communication skills

Bonus

• Experience with WCAG 2.x Accessibility and WAI-ARIA
• Experience with Visual Studio and background in PHP
• Experience with Bootstrap 5
• Experience optimizing web performance (i.e. network, cpu).
