We launched as part of Y Combinator's summer 2018 batch and today are handling subscriptions for more than 5 million mobile subscribers, and are the subscription infrastructure for thousands of apps. We are a mission driven, remote-first company that is building the foundation for mobile subscription infrastructure. Top apps like WidgetSmith, Buffer, and Fishbrain count on RevenueCat to power their subscriptions at scale.

As the first Solutions Engineering hire on the developer experience team, you'll be the technical voice in the room with new prospects and customers to bridge the gap between engineering, sales, and product. Whether it's early in evaluation or post-launch, you'll partner with companies of all sizes to ensure they have a flawless implementation and come up with creative solutions for the needs and requirements of each app.

About You:

  • 3+ years experience with a technical product in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: iOS (Swift / Objective-C), Android (Java / Kotlin), Dart, React Native.
  • Not afraid to jump into foreign code to debug issues and answer questions.
  • Experienced working in the sales lifecycle and driving outcomes in a customer-facing environment.
  • Comfortable explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Thrive in a creative and collaborative environment.

In the first month, you'll:

  • Ramp up on our product, market, and industry
  • Learn our current sales motion, product positioning, and ideal target segments
  • Define a target account list
  • Close your first deal

In the first three months, you'll:

  • Be the technical representation for RevenueCat on pre-sales calls
  • Get introduced to RevenueCat's largest and most strategic customers as their technical point-of-contact
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Developer Experience to push public documentation and samples that help drive growth

In the first six months, you'll:

  • Provide feedback and guidance to help influence the product roadmap
  • Have on-boarded several high value customers from evaluation to post-launch alongside the sales team
  • Understand how purchases work across Apple, Google, Amazon, Stripe in nuanced detail and provide best practices and your recommendations to companies
  • Help onboard new team members across the developer experience team

Within a year, you'll:

  • Own the technical relationship with our largest prospects and customers
  • Work with our VP of Sales to define the sales strategy for 2022 and beyond
  • Act as a mentor or potential lead of the growing team
