We are looking for a Software Engineer II who is interested in revolutionizing the video games advertisement space. You will work closely with people who built video games for decades, and you will create technology that will transform how advertising is perceived in the video games world. The platform that you'll be working on is written in Go and Python, and runs in AWS. It serves millions of video ads every day.

This opportunity is open to any remote candidate authorized to work in the United States. If you desire, we support relocation to one of the two cities where we have development centers: Seattle (preferred) or New York.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement features for the Simulmedia ad technology
  • Design and implement highly available, robust and reliable services
  • Build software prototypes
  • Collaborate with other disciplines (PM, Business, Operations, etc) and even developers from game studios to create solutions that solve problems in the video advertising space

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of work experience as a software engineer
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and debugging problems in large codebases
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and testing
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C++, C#, Java, Javascript, Go, Python, Ruby, Rust
