Software Engineer

EveryDose is looking for growth-focused software engineers to help us build the future of medication management. As a Software Engineer (React), you will play a key role in developing the front-end of our industry-leading web applications, and you will have the opportunity make an impact on our company from day one. On a day-to-day basis, you will collaborate with our cross-functional teams to develop, test and launch exciting new features that will revolutionize healthcare.

You should be familiar with all aspects of application development and must have expert knowledge of front-end development of web applications using ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3. You should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and passionate about healthcare this is a great opportunity to shape the industry!

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the front-end development of our web applications using ReactJS
• Collaborate effectively with the Senior Engineers and your product and development teammates to understand and define requirements
• Translate designs into high quality code that is optimized for maximum performance across a vast array of devices and browsers
• Utilize test methodology, version control and release processes to ensure application quality and performance
• Investigate and resolve bugs or deficiencies, monitor and optimize application performance and drive improvements
• Be involved in many different aspects of our product development, across multiple software development projects
• Meet deadlines and deliver milestones on-time and accurately

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field; Masters Degree in Computer Science preferred
• 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying high performance web applications
• Expert knowledge of ReactJS
• Strong proficiency with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript, including DOM manipulation. Experience with AngularJS and other modern JavaScript frameworks a plus
• Experience using testing frameworks and browser automation tools, such as Jest and Selenium
• Familiarity with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack and NPM
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
• Experience in integrating third-party APIs and libraries as well as the design, implementation and deployment of new APIs
• Excellent visual, written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills
• Experience working on a self-managing team, within an Agile framework such as Scrum
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, communicate progress and meet deadlines
• Highly resourceful with the ability to find solutions to complex problems
• A team player who works well with others and is willing to do what it takes to make the team successful
• Comfortable in a startup environment were fast-paced, self-motivated and determined to change the industry
