As part of our SUSE Linux Systems Project-/Program Management team you will be responsible for the analysis, the concept phase until the realization of our Atlassian tools:

Jira Software and Confluence including many plugins.

You will work with management, the Application Manager and developers from different departments, so your stakeholders are in all parts of the organization.

You will lead our Atlassian tool efforts, take care of the budgeting and advice management for future planning.

Also you will help various teams to organize their work-tasks with your process knowledge in the same way than your methodical support.

Your tasks will be

• Design, develop and execute software solutions to address business requirements
• Provide architectural blueprints and technical leadership to our leadership team
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform
• Collaborate with peer organizations and end users to provide the software solutions needed
• Interpret business requirements to articulate the business needs to be addressed
• Troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently
• Coach or mentor other developers when required to ensure quality and productivity
• Application support including requirements-, test-, release-, change- and risk-management, implementation
• Work with the team on training concepts and bring them to life
• Establish a sustainable quality of service (SLA)

Your profile

• 3 or more years of SW architecture and development experience, from the idea to production (Jira and Confluence preferably)
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent education and acquired knowledge
• Experience and understanding of enterprise level processes
• You have profound expertise with the Atlassian products: Jira Software and Confluence as a must, knowledge about the Atlassian SDK is a plus
• You have experience in designing workflows and consulting towards the best solution
• You have hands-on experience in administration, configuration and support of the Atlassian-Tools and practical knowhow in all project phases, from requirements analysis until roll-out
• You bring good knowledge of software development (requirements, design, testing) and understanding of system and software architectures
• You have good knowledge of process management frameworks in mixed environments
• Fluent English language skills (spoken and written)
• You love to work in international teams and are a teamplayer. You like to work in a structured way
• You have very good listening skills in order to help your stakeholders define their needs
