About The Role

Rippling is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer (React) who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include bringing UI/UX wireframes to life and building new, extensible components and libraries for reuse across Rippling's web application.You will be responsible for building out one of Rippling's newest products, working directly alongside product leadership and design.

What You Will Do

• Develop user-facing features for a new Rippling product
• Build reusable code, components and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI designs
• Optimize Rippling's web application for maximum speed and scalability
• Have horizontal leadership - drive initiatives via community sync-ups or work on more "zoomed-out" and high-level projects that will move the needle in the long run

• 5+ years of experience in frontend engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript (especially ES6+), React, HTML, and CSS, and unit and integration testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of frontend performance optimization techniques.
• Strong understanding of JS fundamentals.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Entrepreneurial mindset: you thrive in unstructured environments and enjoy identifying and solving big problems.
• Good interpersonal skills

• Experience with React Native or iOS or Android mobile development
• Working with design systems and/or component libraries
• Experience monitoring, profiling, and optimizing web applications.
