Founded in Amsterdam and headquartered in the cloud, Otrium also has hubs in New York and London. Your impact

The Odoo Engineer is an important contributor to the product and the team, delivering the best code on time, taking ownership, addressing the tech debt, documenting, mentoring and communicating.

Your responsibilities

• Understand the assigned task and lead and implement it with the best of the ability and coding standards
• Work on/advice on tasks related to the component owned by you, jump on any issues related to your component, work on tech debt tickets, document your solutions and fixes
• Take ownership of some or all components of the product and tasks related to those components
• Help review a solution and suggest improvements
• Address the tech debt and keep the team informed about tech debt
• Document the features, incidences, and actions
• Mentor the junior developers and review the code on their request
• Update the team lead about any blockers, on time
• Bring in or suggest best practices for the team

You are

• You have a minimum 4 years of experience with Odoo development
• Experience with Postgres and Python3
• Experience with PHP and Node.JS is a plus
• Experience with Celery is a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to take ownership and self-driven
• Good communication in English
