The Role

More time is spent on Insight Timer than all other meditation apps combined. Data is one of our key competitive advantages as we have more variety and more depth than any other meditation app. This is a unique opportunity to be an integral part of building the nascent Data Science function at Insight Timer. We are hiring Machine Learning engineers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Research Scientists who are passionate about using data, ML and AI to better understand users and to offer new products and experiences that can help improve their lives.

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer you will be owning our entire ML pipeline from ideation to final implementation via countless iterations and improvements. You will have the opportunity to develop a cutting-edge recommendation engine using deep neural networks and modern wide-and-deep recommendation frameworks. You will be supported by Data Engineers, Feature Engineers, and Data Scientists to ensure that your models are powered with high-impact, quick data.

The team includes ex-Google and ex-Atlassian employees and is advised by the former Head of Data Science at LinkedIn. You will work cross functionally and collaborate with Engineers, Data Scientists and Product Managers to bring your insights and ideas to life.

What you'll do:

• Implement cutting-edge ML technology to create the best recommendation system in the wellbeing/meditation space
• Scope, design, create, deploy and tune ML models to improve key metrics that drive business value
• Work closely with our Data Scientists to incorporate new features and insights that may improve our ML models
• Own the end-to-end data pipeline with support from our data engineers and feature engineers to ensure seamless integration between our datasets, our ML models and the end-user APIs
