Senior Java Developer required to work for a fast growing Mobile Technology company based in Central London. However, due to Covid-19, this role is fully remote and we can consider candidates up and down the UK and right across Europe.

For this role, you would be joining the Analytics & Tools team, reporting to the Lead Data Engineer and working on building cutting edge recommendation engines for their millions of users. Anyone who has worked with Java for a significant period, has exposure to Python and has some leadership skills, we want to talk to you!!!

Experience Required:

• Minimum 6 years software engineering experience with 2+ years at a senior level, whether this be as a Team Leader or a Manager
• Experience with streaming frameworks such as Spark, Storm or Flink
• Significant experience with Java, SQL and one or more programming languages such as Python, Golang or Scala
• Experience building platforms that process large volumes of time-sensitive user data
• Experience with Postgres or similar databases and caching services such as Redis
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud infrastructure
• Experience with technologies such as Kafka, Avro and Parquet
• Exposure to Flink (nice to have)
