Givelify is actively looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to join our Giving development team. We are looking for self-driven individuals who want to be part of the direction of our product, who take pride in their work and are not afraid of getting their hands dirty with all parts of our product. The Frontend Software Engineer will work with a cross-functional team to build industry-leading solutions & technologies that bring beautiful giving experiences to life while maintaining a high standard of engineering quality.

Some of the meaningful work you will perform:

• Building clean, scalable, and responsive React applications.
• Designing, implementing and maintaining existing and new applications.
• Build reusable components and create modular templates.
• Partner with UX and design team and bring beautiful giving experiences to life.
• Partner with other software engineers and create rapid prototypes.
• Having fun building high quality code.

We welcome your experience and talents:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics (STEM)
• 5+ years of software development experience working on large web applications (React)
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Proficiency with JavaScript, CSS, ES6+, React, Redux, and modern web development toolchain.
• Mastered Git
• An ability to demonstrate superior understanding of software development fundamentals
• Experience with converting visual designs and using prototyping tools, such as InVision or Figma
• Knowledge of component design for React applications.

WOW factor if you bring this experience:

• Experience design and implement APIs for web applications.
• Experience developing data intensive web applications.
• Experience with TDD or BDD.
• Experience with Typescript, GraphQL
• Experience with Android (Kotlin), iOS (Swift)
• Familiarity with CD/CI tools, such as Jenkins and Docker.
• Experience and knowledge of PHP, Python or similar programming languages
