Senior Frontend Developer

We are looking for an experienced front-end engineer, with a strong track-record of delivering results, a passion for sharing knowledge, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced startup environment. Your responsibilities will mainly be split into front-end development and setting up growth for front-end engineers. We want you to take end-to-end ownership of our front-end from an architectural and best practices perspective, to constantly raise the quality bar in your area of expertise. Your main goal will be to ensure that Taktile delivers its product vision to customers with fast iteration of product features and improvements. Your secondary goal will be to initiate and drive forward our Front-End Chapter in Taktile, with a focus on knowledge management and setting up front-end engineers for long-term success and career growth at Taktile. To achieve your goals, you will work closely with technical leadership, product management, design team, and engineering.

What You'll Do

• Own the technical decisions on our front-end based on React, Typescript, Axios, Cypress and MobX.
• Take end-to-end ownership of our front-end from an architectural and best practices perspective.
• Translate Figma designs into React, and continuously iterate on the implementation based on customer feedback.
• Own and improve our front-end development cycle.
• Set and own the quality bar for our front-end code-base. Automated testing will be part of the job.
• Provide on-boarding guidance for new joiners and knowledge sharing for other engineers.
• Consolidate knowledge sharing across the front-end discipline into a Front-End Engineering Chapter.
• Actively contribute to hiring top talent for Taktile through technical interviewing.
• Be an active sparring partner for product and the engineering lead by participating in our active feedback culture.

Ideal, But Not Required

• Proximity to the Berlin office, as we're a hybrid company. You can work fully remotely.
• Experience working with AWS, but any core cloud system works (GCP, Azure).
• B2B or SaaS experience is a strong plus.
