What will you tell your friends when they ask you what you do?

I help create the gateway that tells the world what App Annie does, and using crafted UI/UX, I create a means for new and existing customers to grow their business using App Annie's products and services.

You will be responsible for and take pride in....

As a Front End Engineer, you contribute to the development of everything that powers the marketing side of appannie.com. These pages are read by millions each month.

You will build and improve configurable front-end modules and our React apps in our CMS using the latest web technologies. You'll also shape and maintain tools that content creators rely on.

• Collaborate on building concepts that implement a product led growth strategy for our logged out product experience.
• Build and maintain the logged out experience at appannie.com (marketing pages).
• Collaborate with stakeholders and UI/UX designers to build beautiful, modern, performant, and production-ready pages and components.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Work with a global team in an agile environment.
• Develop clear, testable, SEO friendly and performant code.
• Support content creators across the globe.
• Contribute innovative ideas to increase developer productivity, enhance the user experience, and foster teamwork.
• Make things a little better than how you left it (code, process, documentation, etc).

You should recognize yourself in the following...

• A technical innovator with experience developing product and design visions, and a focus on fantastic UX.
• Someone with a proficient understanding of HTML5, CSS3, as well as JavaScript.
• Highly experienced with React as well as other advanced client-side JavaScript frameworks.
• Understanding of core data concepts and data visualization.
• Experienced in improving and fixing a wide variety of web performance issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years in software development with a focus on developing rich web applications.
• Experience delivering high-quality, secure code without relying on someone else to find bugs in it.
• Strong sense of ownership in all areas of software engineering and a drive to see items to completion, both your own and those of others.
• Substantial knowledge of modern front-end development: TypeScript, React, Next.js, SEO optimization, CSS3, HTML5.
• Nice to have: Testing Frameworks - Cypress, React Testing Library, Jest.
• Nice to have: WordPress development, PHP.
• Nice to have: Server Environments, Docker management, CI/CD, Varnish.
