Senior Front-End Developer

The Senior Software Engineer (L4), Frontend Developer, will be tasked with creating intuitive, customer-centric experiences that delight customers and push the envelope on digital products in the Federal market. You will be a key member of our DevSecOps product team that develops key components of our serverless products, enhancing our underlying application architecture, and maintaining code quality through team code reviews.

This team member is part of our Product Engineering workstream that utilizes the latest development principles and creates genre-defining products to challenge deeply-entrenched incumbents. Moreover, the role supports similarly-aligned tasks on internal initiatives to build out the CloudPareto product lineup. If this type of work excites you, we'd love for you to join us.

Position Details:

• Title: Senior Software Engineer, Frontend Developer

• Grade: L4

• Start Date: 2-4 weeks

• Base Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000

• Performance Incentive: up to 20%

• Work Status: US citizenship required

• Requirements: Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline ), ability to pass a detailed background investigation

Qualifications & Experience:

• 4+ years' experience in software development

• Utilizing serverless, GraphQL, RESTful APIs, and other web-based technologies to successfully deploy and operate commercial software solutions

• Utilizing the following languages and frameworks: JavaScript, HTML, React, CSS

• Utilizing software engineering approaches such as CI/CD, Test Automation, Build Automation and Configuration Management frameworks

• Operating within DevSecOps/Agile environments to support buildout of relevant processes and navigating through uncertainty/ambiguity

• Exercising strong written, diagraming, and verbal communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into simplified explanations and expanding upon open-ended requirements

• (Preferred) Experience developing front-end applications in conjunction with the following AWS services: Amplify, AppSync, S3, Cognito, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB

• (Preferred) Experience in static web-sites with technologies such as Gatsby and Jekyll

• (Preferred) Experience developing and deploying solutions in a cyber risk adverse environments including Federal government agencies

• (Preferred) Experience participating in technical teams at small-scale startup environments or small enterprise prototype workstreams
