Check out the details for our Internships!The Role:Sunday is looking for 2 talented and motivated Science Interns to work within our science team. Science interns will contribute to internal scientific projects at Sunday to optimize science training, research, and applied data. Interns will also have the opportunity to build a portfolio of work while gaining an immersive experience building a foundation of science at a fast-paced, green tech start-up.Sunday is seeking current students or recent graduates who have a science background or interests, uphold the core values of the Sunday team and are solution-oriented. Prior knowledge or experience in lawns and gardens is not required. This is a paid, part-time internship and is fully remote.Program StructureThe intern program will consist of two interns and will be organized into two disciplines:Data-driven Comms: Support data-driven science communication projects to optimize science-based content, customer service training, and if applicable, digital products.

Ability to clearly communicate scientific content and research for a variety of audience needs
Communicate findings in reports and presentations
Technical requirements: Literature review, academic (undergrad) research

Applied data: Support interdisciplinary data projects to optimize physical and digital products

Visualize scientific data and research for a variety of audience needs

You'll Make an Impact By:

Interpreting and organizing technical, science-based information on behalf of the Sunday Science team.
Working collaboratively with the Science office and any relevant cross-functional teams within Sunday.
Developing foundational internal science reports based on the latest scientific findings.
Communicating scientific information for a variety of audience needs.
Supporting initiatives to enhance the integration of Science into other facets of the company.
Delivering a final project that will be utilized and integrated into Sunday Science department symposium and library.

About You:

Science degree and/or background preferred, not required.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work independently.
Strong ability to collaborate and communicate across multiple functions and levels.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, frequently changing and evolving environment.
Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks, manage time effectively
Passion for the natural world, environmental science, and sustainability.
Strong interpersonal skills including flexibility, positivity, and relatability.
