Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle including extensive new feature development
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code for web applications
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise software development experience
• 3+ years as a technical leader
• Experience with modern scripting languages (TypesScript/JavaScript)
• Experience in API development and integration ideally with Node/GraphQL
• Strong cloud/serverless background ideally with AWS Lambda/API Gateway

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
• AWS certification
