iOS Swift Developer

We're a small and fully remote team of developers. We've been incorporated as Widgetlabs in Cologne, Germany since 2007.

We're building mobile apps and back-ends for startups (including our own) and startup-like projects of established companies. After many years of doing both, we're going well beyond just programming. We support our clients in planning, building, and running software-based products and startups by bringing in the startup, development, and technology experience we've collected over time.

Requirements

What will make your life easier when working with us:

• You've got 3+ years frontline experience in building iOS apps, some with Swift.
• You're thrilled about building Swift-based apps.
• You're capable of structuring, developing, and maintaining entire apps on your own
• You're intimately familiar with iOS' unique standards, capabilities, and limitations, as well as UIKit.
• You love being involved in app concept & design to connect users' needs with iOS' UX, capabilities & standards.
• You rely on solid unit/integration tests and CI/CD.
• You fancy collaboration through tools like GitHub & Trello.
• You don't shy away from writing good documentation that allows other developers to join or to continue your work.

• You love to tackle and solve problems using modern technology way more than implementing theoretical specifications.
