Full Stack Developer

AAAtraq is an InsurTech company. We are the first intelligence-driven Risk Control Service that shields organizations from litigation. Our automation delivers auditing that immediately clarifies risk, a modelling engine that proactively directs mitigation actions, and protection underpinned with on-hand legal expertise and insurance.

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our remote team. Ideally, you will have a track record of 3+ years creating modern web apps and delivering high-quality software that is secure, reliable, and maintainable.

What will you be doing?

• Working as part of a small, collaborative, and 100% remote team.
• Defining and prioritising requirements in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Maintaining the current codebase.
• Implementing new features and improvements.
• Adhering to Accessibility standards and best practices.
• Optimising applications for robustness, scalability, and great user experience.

Please apply if you have the following:

• 3+ years of commercial experience.
• High proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and Javascript.
• Strong knowledge of Python and the Django web framework.
• Good understanding of Web Accessibility.
• Strong knowledge of Git and Linux.
• Excellent spoken and written English with the ability to communicate technical details clearly.

Great if you also have experience with:

• Building scalable SaaS web apps.
• SQL databases.
• Node.js.
• AWS infrastructure.

This is a 100% remote role so you can be based anywhere in the UK or further afield, however, we ask that you can be available for a daily call 0900-0930 UK local time and other calls during UK office hours.

Our interview process consists of an initial call (15-20 mins approx.) to find out a bit more about you and tell you more about the role and company. This is followed by a question-based technical interview via Zoom on existing knowledge/current tech stack (45-60 mins approx.)
