Frontend Developer

My client has an exciting opportunity for a driven Frontend Developer who is looking for their next challenge. You will have at least a few years frontend experience, be able to work as a part of a larger team and enjoy developing innovative software solutions.

Working in collaboration with the development team, the role will involve working on a variety of client driven technology projects utilising your skillsets including Vue.js, React and Typescript, building software from client's specifications, ensuring best practice development, taking ownership of projects and overseeing, mentoring and supporting more junior members of the team.

Specifically, my client is looking for candidate who can work with the following technologies and enjoy working in a challenging, yet rewarding role: JavaScript - React.js/Vue.js (Node would also be useful).

Responsible for:

• Working within a fast-paced team
• Contributing to the definition of new features
• Building a great platform that developers love as well as championing high design and development principles
• Working on web applications as well as mobile
• Building a secure and highly scalable platform

Candidate will have the following technical skills:

• Strong experience with Vue.js is preferred but open to React.js as long as comfortable to pick up Vue.js
• Strong experience developing using JavaScript and vanilla JavaScript
• Demonstrable experience working within a cloud environment, ideally AWS
• Experience writing unit tests using Jest
• Working in a continuous delivery cycle
