adviqo group runs Europe's largest marketplace for life advice services. We enable advice seekers to connect with experts by telephone, chat and messaging. All our products have a strong focus on esoteric services, but we started working on other advice fields like health, relationships and well-being in order to grow our footprint and to diversify our userbase. We even run our own TV station AstroTV with on-premise production studios, which we also use to produce high-quality audio and video content.

Your challenge

Help us design a lean and easy-to-use architecture for one of Europe's largest marketplaces.

Replace with us and your team a legacy system iteratively with a new lean modern software. Use the given freedom efficiently and choose from current platforms, services and technologies. Be a team player.

For the change, we rely on the latest technologies such as React, Typescript, GraphQL, NextJS and Storybook. In the backend, we use Java 8 and NodeJS. We run the whole thing dockered in a kubernetes cluster.

Your profile

You have several years of experience with Javascript as one of the most popular programming languages. We understand that you are familiar with the syntax, rules and structures as well as conventions and community standards.

You are not dependent on libraries, but you know when, where and why to use them. Microservices and the use of REST API's or GQL are also familiar to you.

You know how to write unit tests and debug your code with modern developer tools. Quality is generally not negotiable for you and you like to work in an interdisciplinary, agile team.
