Engineering Team Manager, Databases

The Squarespace Databases Team team is looking for an Engineering Team Manager to support our engineers as they build the future of Squarespace's data platform. We manage many of the stateful systems at Squarespace, including databases, queues, and caches. It's a critically important job, and we have fun doing it.

You will work with our peer teams within the Infrastructure organization and our internal customers across the rest of Engineering. You will manage approximately six direct reports, and you will report directly to the team's Engineering Manager. We're looking for someone located in New York City, NY or Portland, OR.

Who We're Looking For

• 2+ years of management or equivalent experience
• Experience in software engineering, data systems, and *nix environments
• Desire to build great relationships and work through conflict
