You will be responsible for and take pride in....

As a back-end engineer working for App Annie, you will be a key contributor toward product innovation. You will be part of a dedicated team being hired to build out a new product offering, with the ultimate goal of expanding App Annie's addressable market.

• Collaborate with Product owners and engineering leaders to build out new APIs and microservices
• Tune and optimize database queries to support the best possible user experience without breaking the bank
• Ensure the technical feasibility of product requirements
• Develop well-written, testable and performant code
• Technical innovator with experience developing web APIs on a microservice architecture

You should recognize yourself in the following...

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 1-3 years in software development with a focus on developing rich web applications
• Experience delivering high-quality code without relying on someone else to find bugs in it
• Experienced with Python as well as web service frameworks, such as Flask or Tornado
• Familiar with good data modeling practices and relational databases
• Understanding of asynchronous request handling and promise-based programming
• Experience with containerized application
• Well-versed in OWASP security principles
