The position

Fresh from our Series-C fundraising, now is a very exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as Vice President of Sales Operations and Enablement, joining our Sales team.

The global Sales organization has significant growth aspirations and seeks a proven leader of Sales/Revenue operations to develop the systems, processes, reporting, tooling and enablement programming needed to take our go-to-market teams to the next level. Be a key part of the leadership team responsible for transforming go-to-market at Remote. This role reports directly to Remote's Chief Revenue Officer.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, optimize and scale of the Sales Operations and Enablement organization as we expand our global market presence
  • Develop go-to-market strategy in conjunction with the CRO, your colleagues in sales leadership and key cross-functional partners including Customer Experience and Marketing
  • Deliver programs to optimize sales processes, improve win rates, increase customer retention and increase expansion revenue
  • Collaborate with FP&A to design and manage sales compensation and develop sales quotas which deliver to the company's financial plan
  • Optimize the processes governing sales territories, account assignments and rules of engagement
  • Develop the systems architecture needed to support go-to-market and work to improve the efficacy of core technologies such as Salesforce
  • Lead programmatic training and education to enable sales success, improve sales productivity and support the customer experience
  • Design and implement the operational processes needed to support market entry and international expansion
  • Manage the team responsible for knowledge management and communication within the Sales organization
  • Support the development of enhanced reporting and analytics at Remote, delivering improved insight into customer economics and go-to-market performance
  • Grow and develop a high performing team of Sales Enablement and Operations professionals
  • Partner cross-functionally with other teams at Remote to coordinate Sales activities and deliver on the operational requirements of our go-to-market teams

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in a relevant discipline
  • 15+ years of direct experience in Sales Operations including 5+ years leading and motivating layered management teams
  • Demonstrated experience leading significant operational transformations, ideally within high-growth environments
  • Exceptional leadership skills
  • Effective "zooming in and out", comfortable working both strategically and tactically
  • Direct experience with successfully building new processes, developing new tools, assessing and implementing new systems
  • A track record of improving sales productivity
  • Strong communication skills, including fluency in written and spoken English
  • Prior experience with saas models highly preferred
  • MBA or advanced degree beneficial, but not required
  • It's not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus

Remote's Total Rewards philosophy is to ensure fair unbiased compensation and fair pay along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate. We do not agree to or encourage cheap-labour practices and therefore pay a minimum annual salary of USD 40,000 per year, in all locations throughout the world. Actual compensation may vary based upon geographical location, experience, and/or skill level. However, it will never be below our minimum global compensation mentioned.
