We're looking for a motivated Solutions Engineer to join us! The Solutions Engineer will work closely with sales to deliver world class customer solutions and onboarding experiences. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with talented people who have a passion for cryptocurrency and changing the way the world pays for things.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in sales presentations for BitPays suite of products and integrations options.
  • Based on conversations with sales and prospects, recommend solutions to drive business outcomes.
  • Document recommended solutions using a mix of written and visual means (i.e. data flows, Salesforce updates, etc.).
  • After the sale, lead clients through a fully managed integration/onboarding process including certification and verification of branding requirements.
  • Keep up-to-date project documentation including SalesForce records and formal project plans published to the customer.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of progress including progress towards key milestones including but not limited to: compliance approval, development start/complete, end-to-end testing, certification and go live.
  • Proactively manage to resolution any known, or potential issues, during the sales and onboarding process.
  • Ensure effective and efficient use of Salesforce.com including administration, user setup, reporting and adoption. Maintain account, opportunity, onboarding and contact data. Prepare reports/forecasts to estimate delivery of quote with consideration for sales and onboarding pipeline.
  • Expand the onboarding process so team members get the most complete training possible.
  • Project manage cross-functional initiatives with vendors and third party system providers.
  • Assist clients with technical and marketing certification.
  • Assist sales leaders with updating their opportunities at each stage of the sales cycle.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a customer facing Solutions Engineering (Sales Engineering) role with sales operations experience
  • Strong background managing integration projects from ideation to completion
  • Be able to guide customers with the installation of plugins for Magento, WordPress, Shopify and other common ecommerce platforms
  • Familiarity with payment processing and risk management a big plus
  • Ability to appropriately assess and solve technical and business-related challenges
  • Knowledge to improve and optimize the sales process and tools
  • Self-starter with the ability to to work with minimum supervision
  • Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Available to travel when needed
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
