Composed of individual teams that handle Strategy, New Business Initiatives, Partnerships and Account Management, the department leads a global supply-focused initiative that works with brand partners, retailers and power sellers to secure new inventory and widen exposure for GOAT Group. Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Senior Account Manager (on the West or East Coast) for our Business Development team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, fluent in the sneaker market, and committed to providing top-tier customer service for key sellers on the platform. They will also be confident in their relationship building skills, a strong communicator, and comfortable in understanding and reporting on data. They should excel at working across a variety of departments, including Operations, Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Logistics.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and maintain top seller relationships on the platform
  • Maintain and optimize key seller relationships through all facets of the account management process
  • Track KPI's for your accounts, with a proactive approach to addressing any areas of concern
  • Collate and present monthly summaries on account performance
  • Use data-informed guidance, to help accounts achieve growth on our platform
  • Provide dedicated customer support for our power sellers
  • Assess each account's status, performance and full potential to identify additional growth opportunities
  • Work closely with Operations teams to manage inflow of product, ensuring seamless processing of shoes for sale
  • Solve seller issues through troubleshooting, with prompt communication
  • Drive business by prospecting existing connections and proactively sourcing new accounts
  • Efficiently resolve any account issues or questions, partnering with our Operations team
  • Be up to speed on sneaker trends and releases

We are looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in an account management function, with strong sneaker knowledge
  • Strong sales and analytical ability
  • Confidence in manipulating and reporting on data
  • Experience building a book of business
  • Confidentiality and discretion is a MUST
  • High level interpersonal, communication, and written skills
  • Highly organized with demonstrated attention to detail
  • A quick learner, a self-starter, able to work independently, and willingness (and ability) to handle the pressures of an increasing level of responsibility
  • Mac and Excel proficiency, understanding of web-based platforms, and comfortable managing URL links
