Context on the Role

You will be part of the Sales Strategy & Operations team whose main goal is to- Define the strategy to achieve our growth and margin objectives- Deeply understand and be able to explain performance- Enable one of the most effective Sales teams in the tech industry.

  • The Sales Strategy & Operations team conducts critical strategic, analytical and operational projects designed to accelerate member growth (with a focus on member acquisition) and sales productivity. There are four main components to the work the community does
  • Sales strategy and planning (incl. strat plan, objective setting, territory design)
  • Sales performance monitoring and explanation (incl. reporting, data model)
  • Sales tools and processes (incl. the tech stack and its usage)
  • Sales organization and capability building

Across all these areas we work very closely with the Sales and Account Management teams. The scope of the role is European (France, Belgium and Spain for the time being).

Mission

The tooling area mission is to empower our Sales and Account Management team by developing, maintaining and continuously improving a best in class Salesforce CRM and tooling environment.

Objectives

As a CRM manager, you will closely work with our internal Salesforce Product Manager. Your objectives are to :

  • Own the technical CRM stack (Salesforce + Outreach) at Alan for our B2B sales teams and Account Management teams by :
  • Proposing scalable technical solutions to answer a predefined business needImplementing objects, fields, flows and validation rules to fit with the tailored business needs by team
  • Re-work already existing setup to make them scalable
  • Ease tool usage and empower the team by :
  • Proposing and deploying automation
  • Integrating third party tools or in-house tools
  • Simplifying our process
  • Ensure user adoption by :
  • Shadowing their usage
  • Documenting how to use the feature
  • Sharing best practices
  • Training the team via documentation, videos or live sessions
  • Support the daily usage of the tool stack by :
  • Answering user questions
  • Deep diving into the bugs and fixing them
  • Understanding the users pain points
  • Ensure a high data quality by :
  • Auditing the data
  • Gathering the relevant data to drive our business
  • Proposing reliable process and implement them
  • Monitor the key metrics
  • Ensure a strong maintenance process so that the tool is always used at its best capacity :
  • Running daily CRM administration
  • Managing access rights and licenses
  • Maintaining a clear documentation

Must have

  • Fluency in English
  • Experience on Salesforce Sales Cloud (Lightning) - at least 2 or 3 years on projects in other B2B companies
  • Experience with a sales organization and salesops processes
  • Great organization skills (prioritization of tasks, agile way of working)
  • Strong data appetency
  • Genuine passion for helping others succeed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willing to be hands on the tool and to deep dive in Salesforce settings

Nice to have

  • Experience in a scale-up
  • Any Salesforce certifications
  • Knowledge in SQL language
  • Willingness to coach an intern
