What can you tell your friends when they ask you what you do?
As a member of data.ai's Sales Development team, I work closely with Marketing and Sales to prioritize following up to inbound leads with thoughtful and thorough messaging and conducting outbound prospecting by researching accounts, cold calling, and emailing/messaging prospects. I understand the importance of MQLs (marketing qualified leads), the qualification and discovery methodologies, and data entry and hygiene processes. I also take pride in driving pipeline and growth for the company and meeting my quota by building outreach sequences, utilizing LinkedIn and other data enrichment tools for research, and creating effective partnerships with my Account Executives. I desire feedback and am open to coaching opportunities to hone my skills. Most importantly, I am highly motivated about exceeding my personal goals and maniacal about time management to ensure my success.
To ensure we execute on our values we are looking for someone who has a passion for:
- Perform one-to-few campaigns and activities at the bottom of the marketing funnel and the top of the sales funnel, to generate sales pipeline
- Thoroughly inspect my inbound lead queue and follow up with the goal of educating the prospect on our solutions
- Strategize outbound strategy with my Account Executives to drive awareness and meetings in target prospect accounts
- Cold call prospects
- Update the CRM (Salesforce) with relevant details to ensure proper tracking of activities

- Bachelor's degree required
- Prior experience with telemarketing, lead generation, or cold calling with proven track record achieving sales goals
- Prior experience in technology or SaaS companies preferred
- Experience with Salesforce required
- Must have excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Must have high attention to detail
