At Tecton, we are on a mission to bring world-class Machine Learning to every product and customer experience. Tecton's founders developed the first Feature Store when they created Uber's Michelangelo ML platform. In pursuit of bringing ML to every production application, we have since brought the leading commercial feature store to market and built the most popular open-source feature store.

We are funded by Sequoia Capital and Andreessen Horowitz and have a fast-growing team that works out of SF, NYC, and remotely. Our team has years of experience building and operating business-critical machine learning systems at leading tech companies like Uber, Google, Facebook, Airbnb, Twitter, and Quora, and we're now bringing those same capabilities to every organization in the world.

Tecton is looking for talented and energetic individuals who are motivated and driven to be one of our first Sales Development Representatives. We are a fast-paced, rapidly growing start-up disrupting the Machine Learning industry. Success on our sales development team will rely on commitment to action, creativity and collaboration with the sales and marketing teams. We will invest in your development as this role lays the foundation for a successful career in sales.


    • Collaborate with sales, marketing and our partner team to develop new strategies to build our sales pipeline and grow our business
    • Balance the reactive work of responding to interested users with a creative and proactive approach to identify new opportunities
    • Use Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn, and other prospecting tools to research accounts, identify key contacts and craft targeted messaging
    • Learn our technology and effectively communicate our value proposition with a technical audience. Work to understand their goals and challenges to better understand how we can help

    • Positive Attitude - a state of mind that allows you to envision and expect good things, can handle adversity in stride


    • 1-2 years experience in sales development (ideally in the software industry)
    • Ability to perform conversational qualification of leads from marketing touches
    • Understanding of Trifacta's competitive differentiation and ability to position
    • Disciplined use of
    • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
    • Bachelor's or Master's Degree
