As the Head of Sales Germany you will play a leading role in accelerating Spendesk's sales growth in Germany. We are looking for an entrepreneurial sales manager for our German team who has a passion for driving rapid growth. This is a chance to mould a strong sales organisation at an amazing scale up with a best-in-class product in a booming and mainly untapped market.

This role is mission critical for the success of the German region in a hyper growth context. The role will be evolving over the course over the next 12 months from a hands-on builder and developer of the sales team to a more strategic role.

You will work closely with the Country Manager Germany.

What will be your mission:

  • Develop Spendesk in Germany (>2.x growth in revenue per year)
  • Accountable for the generation of new revenue on the market
  • Hire and build a robust middle management team
  • Enable your Team Leads to onboard and develop new AEs efficiently to ensure the achievement of our ambitious revenue goals
  • Reporting & performance analysis in coordination with sales ops manager & data team
  • Develop a profitable & scalable sales process in Germany across our different target segments (SMBs & mid-market)
  • Work on tactical plans with AE's, Team Leads and business partners to consistently hit on monthly & quarterly targets
  • Partnering closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Partner Management and Revenue Operations teams to ensure long-term success on the market

Your experience and skill set:

  • 6+ years sales experience in a high growth software or SaaS environment targeting SMBs or mid-market companies
  • 2-3+ years of experience managing sales reps as well as Team leaders or Managers
  • Deep understanding of the entire funnel of the sales cycle and profound practical experience of each of the stages of the buyer journey
  • Deep understanding of how to control a sales process in order to build a reliable pipeline and forecast (sales methodologies)
  • Data driven & process-oriented
  • Deep proficiency in using Salesforce & at ease with BI tools
  • Native in German & professional level in English
  • Strong ability to coach and bring teams to higher performance standards and hitting targets
  • High interest in developing individual contributors to push their careers
  • Proven track record of sustained target achievement
