As a Sales Enablement Coach, you'll help train and develop our Business Development Representatives (BDRs) in perfecting their craft and being their absolute best when it comes to driving and accelerating pipeline and opportunities in a meaningful way for our prospects and customers.

The ideal candidate is experienced and well versed in consultative and customer centric selling skills, sales methodology, and what Business Development Representatives need to successfully execute in their role. This candidate has likely held a sales role themselves & has proven experience in the creation and delivery of high impact sales training, an in-depth understanding of the sales cycle, and most importantly exhibits an authentic desire to coach and relish in the success of others.

This role requires cross-functional collaboration with product, sales, and marketing leaders to create and execute world class coaching programs. Success will be measured by the overall business impact of the enablement coaching delivered to BDRs as well as the ability to make enablement fun, engaging and empowering even in a virtual setting. This coach will directly impact the speed and likelihood of BDRs ramping and hitting quota month after month!

Responsibilities:

    • Create the trust and foundation to coach effectively with BDRs and their leadership.
    • Coach BDRs on Ironclad's solutions, competitive intelligence and positioning, selling skills, and best practices for utilizing systems and productivity tools.
    • Execute an operational model that ensures consistent coaching, performance monitoring, and progress for front line Sales roles.
    • Partner closely cross-functionally with sales, product, marketing, and sales operations teams to provide consistent go-to-market messaging and execution of all enablement-related programs.
    • Supplement the Sales on-boarding program and adjust coaching as the company and product matures.
    • Blend a mix of 1:1 coaching and scalable coaching where opportunities are presented for scale.
    • Be data-driven to provide individual BDR skills/performance insights to front-line managers on where their teams can improve & strategize a coaching plan to do so.
    • Ultimately impact more reps hitting quota by decreasing time to win, decreasing time to full quota, increasing win rates, and increasing pipeline.

Requirements:

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
    • 4+ years experience in Sales (Sales, Management, Enablement) with a minimum of 3 years of frontline Sales or Sales Manager experience.
    • Excellent coaching and people skills.
    • Ability to align to business and shifting sales priorities in a fast paced environment.
    • Data driven to design, iterate and measure enablement impact.
    • Resilient with the ability to continuously learn, adapt, embrace feedback, and move forward.
