About the Role

Ethos is looking for an experienced Sales Director to lead the agent acquisition function for our rapidly growing Partnerships business. The individual will be responsible for setting the overall direction of the acquisitions sales org, defining and executing strategic initiatives, continuously refining our sales processes, and developing a high-performance sales culture where employees thrive.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned sales leader with a strong operational drive, who can deliver results through a continuously evolving sales strategy. This role will have high visibility and will work collaboratively across sales, operations, product marketing, finance and analytics to achieve growth goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own, develop, and lead all aspects of a B2B agent acquisition sales org including strategy, personnel development, sales process, reporting, etc.
  • Develop and execute sales initiatives to drive new agent acquisition and revenue
  • Lead teams through constant change in a hyper-growth environment.
  • Create a scalable sales playbook, including onboarding and ongoing training and development
  • Monitor and continuously improve metrics to make data backed decisions to drive revenue, sales velocity, and channel conversion rates
  • Facilitate process standardization across the sales organization and establish targets for activity metrics, sales process, and operational cadence
  • Source, validate and deploy third party technology and vendors to optimize team's performance
  • Create and foster a dynamic and growth oriented team environment virtually or in-person
  • Effectively partner with other internal teams such as growth and retention, operations, finance, product, marketing, and more to achieve business results.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years with B2B inside sales leadership experience, including implementation and ongoing management of goal setting, accountability metrics, and pipeline management
  • Consistent track record in meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity and in an ever-evolving, fast-paced environment
  • Excel at coaching sales teams on handling a complex sales process that may include multiple decision makers and influencers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong operational expertise with a track record of scaling sales teams
  • Extensive working knowledge of CRM/ Sales Enablement software ?" preferably Salesforce & SalesLoft
