About the Role

Your job is to lead Broker Sales Operations for our 60+ person broker sales team as it rapidly scales. You will be responsible for all the supporting functions essential for the broker sales team's success and productivity. That includes partnering closely with our sales leadership team, leveraging analytics to flag opportunities in areas for improvement, overseeing our enablement function, and maintaining the operating rhythm of the Sales organization.

Your job will be to identify improvement areas in our current operation, align on and articulate a vision with our sales leaders, develop the road-map and lead the implementation of best-in-class ops practices across data-analytics, enablement, and marketing. This includes:

  • Partnering with CSO and Executives to align on a broker sales strategy and vision
  • Building and managing all Sales reports in Tableau
  • Enabling producers with Marketing & Training content
  • Managing the Planning, Quota and Target setting process
  • Marketing and Lead list distribution
  • Lead scoring
  • Investment and Staffing models
  • Commissions payout
  • CRM adoption and Tooling for the longterm

You will work hand-in-hand with our Sales leaders in achieving our Revenue and Productivity goals and in scaling the operation from ~60 brokers to a size multiple times larger in the next few years. This role is highly cross-functional as you will partner closely with leaders across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Product.

Responsibilities

Build a high-performing team to support the core sales ops initiatives. This includes analytics, enablement, and marketing operations.

  • Lead and coordinate sales planning, forecasting, investment, staffing and budgeting processes and represent our Sales team with our Finance team
  • Build and manage all Sales reports in Tableau.
  • Proactively monitor to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in reporting efforts.
  • Support the adoption & development of our Sales processes.
  • Identify efficiency opportunities, develop longterm vision and roadmap for the necessary infrastructure and tooling needed (including our CRM) to achieve industry leading productivity.
  • Support the exec reporting of Sales org results Partner with Finance on commissions payouts

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Highly motivated, high impact, selfstarter with a minimum 8+ years of relevant professional experience with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Experience and proven track record scaling and leading outbound Sales at a fastgrowing company
  • Superior operational modeling, forecasting, reporting, analysis, and visualization skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to establish credibility and communicate effectively with crossfunctional partners and executives
  • Highest ethical standards, excellent judgment, and personal/professional integrity
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Tableau and SQL expertise
  • Experience in insurance
  • Experience working with a technology or software company
  • Direct experience with largescale, remote Sales teams
  • Experience operationalizing top of funnel SDR lead gen teams
