What you can do for Expel

  • Build and drive our channel sales and partner go-to-market programs with a customer comes first mentality
  • Hire, motivate, and develop an exceptional team that's rooted in collaboration across teams like Sales Operations, Product, and Channel Marketing
  • Develop a recruitment strategy and matching channel qualifications to add on to our current channel base of signed partners
  • Lead operational processes, metrics, and reporting to provide visibility into sales pipeline, productivity and budget
  • Share partner feedback and stories that help shape company and product strategy
  • Act as an educator and coach to our partners around sales done right principles
  • Drive alignment and collaboration with leadership teams across marketing, finance, legal, information technology and service
  • Collaborate with marketing on partner communications and "marketing to" partners including newsletters, social media platforms, communities, and events
  • Establish a partner enablement and training program

What you should bring with you

  • An approach full of creativity, passion, and resiliency
  • Exceptional communication skills, including active listening, and the ability to influence and adapt communication styles to different audiences
  • Highly adept at building strong relationships across teams to drive action and results cross-functionally
  • Technical fluency- you can translate technical concepts into marketing materials for various mediums and audiences
  • Outstanding project management skills- you're results oriented, self starting, and believe in follow-through
  • Ability to use metrics to inform sales strategy, go to market motions, product strategy and partner management.
  • Experience planning, executing, and reporting on successful partner programs
  • Experience building a channel program with solutions in the enterprise software-as-a-service offerings
  • Proven experience cultivating security partnerships and specifically working with value added resellers across North America.
  • Bachelor's degree, or a compelling story
  • 10+ years professional selling experience in channel/partner sales
  • 5+ years of management experience

Our headquarters is in Herndon, Virginia. However, we realize that while there is a benefit to in-person interaction, good people don't all live in Northern Virginia. Remote work is an option for this role.
