You will be responsible for and take pride in...

As a Mobile QA Engineer, you and your team will make sure that our global portfolio of mobile apps (such as App Annie Pulse and Phone Guardian) as well as a suite of data collection SDKs used by millions of users meet the high-quality standards of App Annie.

• Working with multidisciplinary mobile and research teams creating high quality technical solutions.
• Pragmatic and ambitious about testability, quality, and delivery.
• Balancing manual, scripting and fully-automated testing to tackle the testing challenges of a multifaceted & complex system, from API integration to functional & non-functional testing on the device.
• Proactively identifying possible improvements and providing QA solutions to various engineering teams involved in the product life cycle.
• Being hands-on with testing tasks and building automation and tools to bring efficiency to the QA operations.

You should recognize yourself in the following...

• You're smart and are able to prove it (e.g. you hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field)
• You're passionate about apps and analytics, obsessed with both finding and solving problems, and keenly focused on delivering high quality to customers.
• Energy and creativity are key characteristics that describe you and the projects you participate in. You make it happen. Boom!
• 3+ years of software testing preferably mobile apps experience.
• Proven experience in testing web or mobile apps, background in QA methodologies, and thorough knowledge of structured test methods and processes.
• Experience with software engineering and test automation tools (e.g. Appium).
• You're a great communicator and proficient in verbal and written English.
