QA Engineer with Data experience

Our client is an online Education company, based in the US. They are looking for a QA Engineer with Data/ETL experience, they will continue building a Python framework that tests data integrity and ETL process. They will maintain QA automated tests using various tools

We are looking for a senior QA engineer who has done backend testing and data testing. From the QA side: JavaScript/Cypress, Python, Ruby testing experience. A dynamic person, someone who can take ownership of the project. ETL testing experience

Daily tasks:

• Write test data scripts, based on ETL mapping artifacts
• Execute data scripts and detailed analysis on the scripts
• Create strategies and test cases for ETL pipeline testing
• Detailed data analysis on data warehousing systems
• Execute formal test plans to ensure the delivery of data-related projects
• Provide input and support data testing initiative
• Define and track quality assurance metrics, test results, and test status
• Document all problems and assists in their resolution

Related experience:

• Relevant work experience testing backend, focusing on complex SQL queries
• Expert in Database testing with excellent SQL skills and queries
• Data warehouse testing experience
• Experience testing Waterfall/Agile Development Projects
• Hands-on experience in databases and database architecture
