We are looking for a talented User Experience Researcher to support the execution of qualitative and quantitative studies that will improve the user experience for ServiceTitan's various products across multiple digital touchpoints. This person supports the execution of qualitative and quantitative studies that will improve the user experience for ServiceTitan's various products across multiple digital touch points. This person will work closely with other researchers, designers and product managers to support the delivery of insights about the user experience. This person will be responsible for supporting and conducting research in an Agile design environment using methods such as RITE to rapidly iterate. This role may be responsible for multiple concurrent projects.

What you'll do:

  • Generate actionable insights on people and problems relevant to several connected products or features
  • Use insights from research to influence design and content quality for several connected products/features
  • Lead the definition of research aims and questions that align with product goals
  • Lead the selection of the best method to answer the research question, adjusting the method to better suit the needs of the study.
  • Conduct and or advise teams on conducting generative and evaluative research studies that shape product and design decisions across several connected
  • Partner with Product Designers to coach and support the planning, execution and analysis of usability studies, both with customers through on-site (when available) or remote sessions and with internal subject matter experts, including scheduling, hardware and software, etc.
  • Work with internal recruitment channels, identify recruiting requirements, write screeners, and work closely with recruiting partners across various departments to obtain appropriate users for usability studies.
  • Contribute to and establish processes for integrating research into Product and Design decisions, and how UX research interacts with Product Design, Product Management, Service Design and other teams.

What you'll need:

  • 3-5 years demonstrated experience collaborating on new products or features from conception to launch
  • Demonstrated experience leading tactical iterative research (RITE preferred) for (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting)
  • Demonstrated experience using insights from generative research to influence design and content quality for several connected products or features
  • Deep understanding of research methodologies and the ability to select the best method for a given task
  • A strong portfolio of research deliverables that are both actionable and visually refined
  • Experience collaborating effectively across functions and teams
  • Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology or related field, or equivalent practical experience
