Supports the execution of qualitative and quantitative studies that will improve the user experience for ServiceTitan's various products across multiple digital touch points. This person will work closely with other researchers, designers and product managers to support the delivery of insights about the user experience. This person will be responsible for supporting and conducting research in an Agile design environment using methods such as RITE to rapidly iterate. This role may be responsible for multiple concurrent projects.

As a UX Research on the Experience Design team for Service Titan Product, you will work closely with other researchers, designers and product managers to support the delivery of insights about the user experience. You are able to quickly turn around usability testing and tactical surveys, as well as get deeper insights through in-depth surveys, user interviews, diary studies, and field observations. You are able to execute research in an agile development process and juggle multiple deliverables. You think deeply about end-to-end experiences, including both digital and non-digital aspects. Most importantly, you are a passionate advocate for our users throughout the development process.

What you'll do:

  • Be part of an iterative research team
  • Plan and execute research projects that impact products and features used by people in the service industry
  • Generate insights for both generative and evaluative purposes
  • Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Collaborate with other researchers/director of research on project framing/scoping
  • Lead research projects from start to finish: develop screeners and interview guides, moderate, analyze, synthesize, and deliver results
  • Apply a variety of qualitative and quantitative methodologies to understand complex problems
  • Formulate insights for both generative and evaluative purposes
  • Communicate results and illustrate recommendations in compelling and creative ways

What you'll need:

  • Organizing and conducting user research : 2 years (required)
  • Qualitative research methods and analysis techniques: 2 years (required)
  • Remote moderated and unmoderated research experience: 2 years (required)
  • RITE facilitation analysis : 1 year (preferred)
  • Experience being embedded in agile design methodologies supporting multiple scrums 2 years (preferred)
  • Large scale survey design and analysis: 2 year (preferred)
