The Role

As a Strategy and Operations program manager, you'll play a critical role in the strategic direction and growth of the company. This position sits directly in the Office of the CEO, reporting into the Chief of Staff and will be responsible for ensuring we make progress on key strategic initiatives and plays. The Strategy and Operations Manager will work across the entire organization with high visibility, consistently collaborating with leaders from Product, to GTM, to People, and Finance. This role and team is new to the organization so you'll also have the opportunity to shape the direction of the team and opportunity for impact.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operating rhythm for Apollo's executive leadership team (ELT), including agenda setting for ELT business reviews, capturing action items, and driving accountability for those action items.
  • Drive goal setting and track progress against those goals; proactively flag when goals are off track and work with ELT to address.
  • Partner with leaders across the organization to ensure the company-wide operating system is adopted and constantly iterate on improvements as we learn and grow.
  • Support strategic planning through identification of OKRs.
  • Become a power user of Notion (and other key systems) to ensure visibility of high-priority initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience Required to Apply For This Role

  • 3+ years in a project management, program management, or consulting/strategy role.
  • Excellent attention to detail; you're incredibly organized, proactive, and bring rigor to your work.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including written and verbal communication with senior leadership.
  • Analytical thinker with experience using data to drive business decisions.
  • Experience managing ambiguity and with a bias for action.
  • Preference with experience in high growth tech companies and understanding of SaaS business models.
