Software Engineering Manager Identity Verification

The Identity Verification team, formerly Cognito, recently joined Plaid through an acquisition. We are creating the end-to-end onboarding experience for user account opening in fintech. We are focused on simplifying consumer and business identity verification. Our mission is to help our customers onboard all good users quickly, safely, and compliantly. We hone in on the problems that high growth companies face to deliver products tailored for large onboarding volumes of users. We empower companies to optimize customer onboarding experience using developer-centric infrastructure, and a full-stack approach to verifying user identity.

As an engineering manager of the Identity Verification (IDV) team, you will hire, lead and grow a team of 5-8 engineers. You will also be partnering with Product, Design, Marketing and Revenue functions in day-to-day execution on complex projects that span the entire engineering organization.

In addition, you will contribute to a long term product and technical strategy to accelerate both product growth and integration of IDV into the Plaid product. You will be critical to scaling product, process and culture as the IDV grows.
