We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to inform strategy and own outcomes for Built's digital payment solution. You'll be setting high-level product initiatives and working day-to-day with business leaders, designers, and engineers to ensure money flows seamlessly within the Built ecosystem.

As the Senior Product Manager for Payments, you are responsible for building and maintaining an elegant payment system that facilitates the secure and efficient transfer of funds between banks, property owners & developers, and construction companies. You will bring payments industry expertise to define strategy, create requirements, prioritize deliverables, and measure outcomes. You can clearly communicate complex topics, use data to drive decision making, understand regulatory requirements, and are passionate about product UX.

In This Role, You Will:

• Balance customer understanding with insights from cross-functional teams to develop best-in-class embedded payment experiences.
• Own our internal product strategy for payments.
• Regularly collaborate with internal and external payment stakeholders to ensure operational excellence.
• Make product decisions that align with Built's business objective of increasing total payment volume.
• Leverage your understanding of payment technology and regulatory requirements to drive compliant and elegant product outcomes.
• Establish and ensure adherence to a clear process for prioritization and delivery, and improve the process over time based on feedback from stakeholders

Who You Are:

• You have 5+ years experience in product management, with B2B Payments Experience
• Bonus Points: Construction Finance and/or Construction Payments experience
• You are Exceptionally Curious - driven by learning and discovery. You are energized by uncovering new and unique information that can be used to create client focused solutions.
• You are Customer-centric - ability to deeply understand customer pain points, and translate them into opportunities that provide measurable value.
• You have strong data analysis capability and a proven track record of leveraging data to drive decisions.
• You are Execution oriented - a self-driven sense of urgency and a willingness to figure out solutions to unexpected problems. Strong collaborator - great written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder management are a must for this role
• You are Business-minded - innate understanding of how your work impacts the business as a whole and moves us towards our objectives
• You are Team centric - excellent ability to align cross-functional teams to collaborate and deliver on an operating plan
• A plus, but not required: A technical degree from a four-year university or past experience in software engineering
