About The Role

The Coalition Engineering Team is looking for a self-driven Senior Engineering Manager to direct our growth engineering team. In the role, you will build a nimble team that will drive direct business impact in areas such as ardent pricing insight, driving engagement with Coalition Control alert notifications, and maximizing sales through workflow automation and opportunity scoring. The role is highly cross-functional and the authority will partner with Product Management, GTM, and data science to help achieve the company's vision for finding a solution to cyber risk.

Responsibilities

    • Hire and direct a team of 5-10 experienced, high potential growth engineers. Recruit, build, coach and mentor, reinforcing engineering excellence
    • Help develop and shape Coalition's growth strategy. Partner with Product, Business Stakeholders, and Data Science to assess and identify key improvement opportunities, and test those hypotheses and drive key business metrics
    • Provide technical guidance at the architecture and product level. Contribute to the long-term product direction and vision for the broader growth team.
    • Drive the end-to-end delivery of high quality software to create value for our broker and policyholder customers

Skills and Qualifications

    • 3+ years engineering management experience
    • Strong logical experience (AB experimentation experience preferred)
    • Experience working with multiple cross-functional stakeholders
    • Comfort and experience guiding remote and distributed teams
