About the Role

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you'll oversee engineers to build and ship foundations critical to expand our distribution. We are detail oriented and value clean, modular, and high-performing code. You'll help architect and build our internal standards and frameworks. We love engineering-wide consistency in code and have huge ambitions on both client and server side.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the delivery and timeline for the entire pod and their team members.
• Collaborate closely with product and executive teams to develop the tech roadmap/strategy
• Recruit, hire, grow, and retain A+ engineering talent
• Provide meaningful feedback to your team to enable their work and growth.
• Review design, architecture and help mentor the team.
• Develop an architecture that is flexible and scalable as we grow
• You have a deep understanding of your pod's metrics and KPIs. You contribute to your pod's overall strategy and vision.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 3+ years of engineering management experience in high-growth engineering organizations
• 5+ years of engineering experience as an individual contributor
• Demonstrated track record of shipping complex products in a fast-paced environment
• Deep experience implementing process best practices within a rapidly growing team
• Experience building focused roadmaps and know how to make difficult trade-offs
• Great at balancing long-term platform investments against short-term business needs
• Exceptional communication, listening, and empathy skills as judged by your peers and reports
