About the team:

We're looking for a strategic and highly organized Real Estate Operations Manager who will support the real estate team in managing high growth initiatives. As a member of the Real Estate and expansion team, you will be responsible for end-to-end program management, budget management and requirement analysis. You will work alongside the existing team to successfully build, maintain and grow the real estate team and their initiatives. You will be involved in all expansion initiatives, including occasional travel.

What you'll do day-to-day:

• Identifying, crafting, and implementing processes, procedures, and solutions as they relate to new and current office locations
• Continuously assessing the real estate market to evaluate expansion opportunities and update the current portfolio
• Project managing build-outs, construction projects and ad hoc real estate improvements
• Managing the portfolio's critical dates: renewals, disposals, burn downs, terminations, etc.
• Working with key stakeholders to coordinate real estate strategy around employee headcount forecasts
• Partnering with the office team to provide support and strategize on programs
• Collaborating with our internal and external real estate teams to track progress, budget, and overall status of Robinhood's current and potential office locations
• Partnering with internal and external counsel during lease negotiation and execution
• Developing and maintaining lasting relationships with appropriate city officials and representatives
• Extensive and continuous vendor management, including but not limited to: partnering with cross functional teams during the selection process, diligently sourcing and tracking communication with vendors and their prospective projects
• Ad hoc operational projects and cross functional cultural efforts

About you:

• 6+ years in corporate real estate environment or relevant experience in construction project management
• Significant knowledge in the following industries: Real Estate, Construction, Legal, Financial Services
• Ability to balance assertiveness and tactfulness during a negotiation
• Experience managing, coaching, and retaining talent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience creating financial analytical models with methodical approach
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working autonomously, and navigate ambiguity with ease
• Experience building and scaling operations in a high-growth, rapidly adapting environment
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and emotional intelligence
• Experience in change management, administration, and vendor management
• Willing to travel as needed

Bonus points:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
• Extensive knowledge of Google GSuite Apps: Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides
